This is my tattoo story…
I was only 19 and in my second year of college at Texas A&M…Two of my girlfriends just got tribal tattoos and were trying to talk me into getting one. I thought about getting a tattoo before but never really did anything about it. I didn’t know where to go for one and I had no idea what to get.
After about 3 weeks of them bugging me, my friend Michelle dragged me out to a tattoo studio just to check it out. There were so many great tattoo patterns and designs that I really had no idea what I wanted.
I was on my way out the door and then I saw a picture of a girl with a really cool tribal dragon tattoo. Something inside was telling me to get it. So I did and I regretted it ever since. I totally remember waking up one morning several days later looking in the mirror and almost throwing up. What had I done???
Hopefully, if you are reading this, you won’t make the same mistake I did…Don’t get me wrong. Getting a tattoo is not a mistake. A tribal dragon tattoo is a beautiful tattoo but not on me. People ask me so why did you get it? I just laugh. Any hoo…
I now own 2 more tattoos that I just love. One is a cherry blossom tattoo-you can see it in my picture-that goes all the way down my lower back and the other is a tribal butterfly tattoo that is in a pretty special place. I still have my dragon tattoo but I don’t show many people.

Did you know there is even a way to TEST DRIVE a tattoo? I had no idea. I definitely suggest everyone doing this so you know you are getting the right one. But did you also know that some people just should not get a tattoo at all or avoid certain areas of the body entirely? She mentions what to look for in a tattoo parlor, all the health risks involved and even the best time of year to get a tattoo so it looks absolutely crazy hot!!! She talks about all of this and so much more. I want you to have an amazing tribal butterfly tattoo. Don’t make the same mistakes I did. It’s just not worth it.
